We are looking for ahands-on, experienced Plant Managerto lead our manufacturing operations and drive efficiency, quality, and team development.

Role Overview:

AsPlant Manager, you will oversee all production activities across two shifts, ensuring smooth operations, quality output, and a safe work environment. You will work closely with the General Manager and have the opportunity to implementLean manufacturing practicesto enhance efficiency and throughput.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all plant operationsto ensure production goals for quality, efficiency, and safety are met.
  • Implement and sustainLean manufacturingprinciples to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and mentorsupervisors and production employees to improve skill levels and engagement.
  • Maintain astrong safety cultureand ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor production schedules, workflow, and equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Drive quality improvementsto meet the needs of cabinet and furniture manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to optimize processes and support company objectives.
  • Manage labor, materials, and equipment resources effectively.
  • Foster ateam-oriented culturethat values accountability and problem-solving.

  • 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in wood products, veneer, plywood, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge ofLean manufacturingand continuous improvement methods.
  • Experience managingmulti-shift productionwith 50+ employees.
  • Track record ofimproving efficiency, reducing waste, and driving performance.
  • Ability to develop talent and build ahigh-performance culture.
  • Hands-on leadership style—comfortable on the floor and engaging with the team.
  • Solid understanding of maintenance, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
