Our team in Brazil is growing, and we are currently recruiting for a Planning Technician to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the Belo Horizonte office.

About the role:

• Support the control and updating of the construction physical schedule;
• Collect and consolidate field information regarding the progress of activities;
• Review, comment on, and organize Daily Construction Reports (DCRs) from contractors and suppliers, ensuring consistency and completeness of the information;
• Assist in monitoring performance indicators (S-curve, physical progress, critical path);
• Support resource planning (labor, equipment, and materials);
• Participate in follow-up meetings with technical teams and contractors;
• Identify deviations between planned and actual progress, reporting them to the immediate supervisor;
• Contribute to the preparation of weekly and monthly management reports;
• Ensure that field information complies with company standards and third-party contracts;
• Comply with internal procedures related to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

About you:

• Technical course in Building Construction, Mechanics, Electromechanics, or Construction Planning and Control;
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications;
• Experience in creating and updating execution schedules and physical-financial control plans;
• Proficiency in planning software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and advanced Excel;
• Ability to plan and monitor the use of labor, materials, and equipment;
• Skill in monitoring progress and correcting deviations in activities and deadlines;
• Knowledge of technical standards and safety regulations;
• Experience in electromechanical assembly work for industrial plants.
