What You'll Do

As a Senior IT Consultant, you will work closely with our client's leadership teams to understand their key challenges, define IT strategies, win buy-in for your recommendations and collaborate with BCG case team members to transform client potential into performance. You will design IT strategies for mid and large corporations to leverage the digital potential of our customers. You will be responsible for specific parts of the project and will evaluate and coach our clients' technology teams, manage quality and risk while maintaining client expectations and escalations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• IT Strategy: Analyzing complex IT application landscapes with a strategic/business point-of-view, analyzing the status quo and optimization of IT cost structure, identifying non-trivial technology/organization decisions, storytelling creating recommendations in technology, organization, process organization, creating Roadmap and business cases for technology initiatives.
• IT Operating Model: Reviewing client's organization and recommending efficient structure, understanding change needs and helping to design an evolution plan/roadmap, criticize the organization governance model and proposing new ways of taking decisions.
• Building community: Advising internal colleagues on core technical concepts and frameworks, developing a network in the BCG technical community and leveraging it for our clients.

The Expert Consulting Track (ECT) is vital to BCG’s ability to successfully meet our clients’ demand for deep expertise and advanced technical capabilities. Experts deliver next-level impact for BCG's most complex and cutting-edge client challenges. What You'll Bring

At least 6 years of experience in IT Strategy and consulting, with proven experience on software development projects. University degree with above average academic performance in Information Technology related fields or Business Management. A strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

Your skills will include:

• Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, strong customer focus and mental agility with a results orientation.
• Experience in a set of technologies that enables you to analyze legacy environments and propose approaches to modernize technology.
• Track record of use of different types of delivery methodology, such as Agile, Waterfall, and preferably some experience in Digital and Agile transformations at scale.
• Experience in IT organization and development process methodologies.
• Strong business acumen; can frame complex problems in appropriate business contexts.
• Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus.

Additional info

You'll be based in: Sao Paulo. You`ll be traveling At BCG Platinion you will have the opportunity to travel around the globe to work with clients and BCG teams. At times, this role involves significant travel to client sites. The amount of travel will depend on client needs and nature of projects.
