Job summary

micro1 is seeking a Photography and Cinematography Expert contractor for remote work. You will assess briefs, shoot days, and deliver high-quality visuals for AI training and marketing materials. Daily use of professional cameras and editing tools is required; you should be able to justify creative decisions in writing and ensure outputs meet client briefs across print, web, and video formats.

Responsibilities

• Review photos or video to determine strongest options for briefs and audiences.
• Check exposure, focus, color, framing, lens choice and camera movement.
• Flag technical issues that could affect final output (noise, flicker, frame rate, format).
• Provide brief explanations for each decision to aid reviewer understanding.

Responsabilidades

Look at photos or video clips and judge which one is stronger for a given brief and audience. Check exposure, focus, color, framing, lens choice and camera movement. Flag technical problems that would show up later (noise, flicker, clipped highlights, wrong frame rate or format). Check that the work fits the brief and the intended use (print, web, social, broadcast, film). Write a short explanation for each decision so a reviewer can follow your reasoning.

What we’re looking for

Professional work as a photographer, cinematographer, director of photography, camera operator or video producer. Experience with real jobs: briefs, shoot days, post-production and delivery to a client. Daily use of professional cameras and editing or grading tools such as Lightroom, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve or Premiere. Comfort explaining why one shot works and another doesn’t. Clear written English.
