GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under general guidance, the employee will perform the following activities:
- Monitor shipments by interpreting tracking updates within FedEx systems and operations;
- Assist customers in preparing shipping documentation, including international regulatory information, shipping requests, and notifications related to worldwide pickup and delivery;
- Help customers locate packages, answer questions about FedEx products and services, and provide in-person or phone customer service;
- Update shipment information in FedEx systems;
- Analyze operational reports such as Timecard, Scans, CEBS, and EOPS;
- Plan delivery routes;
- Monitor airline and FedEx support areas;
- Verify packages for proper labeling, content legality, weight, size, packaging, insurance, hazardous materials compliance, and customs documentation;
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Station Operations Manager;
- Monitor courier routes, providing updates on packages, pickups, and address changes;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and advanced Word skills.
- Intermediate English language skills.
