Join our dynamic Corporate Investment Bank team as an Associate in the Business Intelligence Group, supporting the LATAM Payments. This pivotal role involves identifying relevant data sources available internally or externally, extracting and processing data to make it usable by business users for decision-making purposes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various teams to identify relevant data sources for business intelligence needs.
- Compile, analyze, and enhance various reporting deliverables to support the Business Intelligence Team.
- Extract, clean, and process data to ensure it is accurate and usable for business analysis.
- Maintain database information in MS Excel, ensuring consistency and accuracy amidst changing needs.
- Assist in the creation of reports and dashboards to provide insights to business users.
- Provide proactive analytics and insights to support decision-making processes.
- Assist in analyzing performance versus plan and financial forecasting.
- Work closely with business users to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve data processes and implement solutions.
- Support resource planning, tracking, and insights for the technology organization.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:- Bachelor's degree.
- 1+ years of experience in a data-related role.
- Proficiency in data processing, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SQL and working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL)
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, especially Databricks and Snowflake
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables and financial formulas.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders globally.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to articulate complex issues concisely.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
