  • Analisar tendências de mercado e manter conhecimento abrangente da cadeia de valor de (re)seguro.

About the Role:

As a Parametric Underwriter and Product Manager, you'll play a crucial role in our Parametric Center of Excellence, working with global reinsurance teams to underwrite, develop, and market innovative parametric solutions that address emerging risks and client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite NatCat and weather-based parametric covers with precision and market awareness
  • Market and sell Swiss Re parametric products to diverse client segments
  • Develop and standardize our parametric product offerings in collaboration with peers in cat modeling to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Analyze market trends and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end (re)insurance value chain
  • Drive innovation in Swiss Re parametric tools and data capabilities, including training, global rollout, and adoption
  • Engage with treaty clients and brokers to build strong relationships and identify opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a proactive, transparent, and timely manner

About the Team:

The Parametric Center of Excellence operates within Global Specialty - Agriculture & Parametric, embedded in the P&C Reinsurance Business Units. By joining our team, you'll become part of a dynamic group of specialists with profound industry experience, working at the forefront of parametric insurance innovation and implementation.

About You:

You're a collaborative problem-solver with an innovative mindset who thrives in fast-paced environments. Your analytical prowess is matched by your business acumen, allowing you to translate complex data insights into valuable client solutions. You excel at building relationships across teams and communicating technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
  • University degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, or other suitable Environmental Sciences
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in insurance product development, parametric underwriting, marketing and sales
  • Solid understanding of reinsurance underwriting principles and pricing methodologies
  • Practical experience working with satellite imagery and meteorological datasets
  • Experience in pricing NatCat parametric products
  • Advanced-level programming expertise in Python and/or R
  • Experience in AI driving product innovation and automation
  • Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated data science and problem-solving capabilities

These are additional nice to haves:
  • Additional language fluency beyond excellent English communication skills
  • Experience working in international, cross-functional teams
  • Project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
