Qualificações

  • Graduação em programa de universidade de alto nível com resultados acadêmicos acima da média.

  • Apoiar a gestão de processos da empresa, incluindo relatórios trimestrais.

Private Equity Capital Formation - Analyst I

Aqua Capital is a leading middle-market private equity firm focused on sustainable investments across the Ag & Food value chain, managing $1.1 billion from blue-chip global investors. We are currently investing out of our $450m third fund, which we closed in March 2024, and are continuously exploring new capital raises to further capitalize on the ongoing transformation of Ag & Food. This is a unique opportunity to see our flagship PE approach broaden into additional investment products and participate in the entire capital formation cycle. The intern will play a pivotal role in supporting the Capital Formation team across three primary areas: (i) Business Development & Investor Relations, (ii) Firm & Corporate Management, and (iii) Investment & Portfolio Management. The role is a unique opportunity to become a key player in a dynamic and evolving environment at a leading PE firm, with direct exposure to senior leadership and the chance to take ownership of significant projects.

Responsibilities and assignments
  • Expected Results:
  • Independently develop presentations on industry trends, the Ag & Food environment, portfolio company operations, and economic trends for both internal and external parties, with minimal guidance.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the alternative investment market, delivering actionable insights on industry trends, returns analysis and competitive landscape.
  • Support the management of core firm processes, including AGMs, Quarterly Investor Reports, investor relationship management, among others.
  • Assist area managers with routine and ad-hoc tasks, maintaining proactive engagement.

  • Data-oriented: Analytical profile able to deliver valuable insights and process a diverse set of Firm/Fund/Portfolio Company data. Able to clearly synthesize information and data in a concise and visual manner.
  • Avid learner & intellectually curious: Possesses a growth mindset and thirst for continuous improvement, as well as a willingness to seek feedback and learn about new fields.
  • Owning your outcomes: Committed to delivering a high-quality product consistently, accurately, and in a timely fashion.
  • Trusted & Reliable Operator: Awareness and judgment in handling sensitive/confidential information with confidence and discretion. Sound business judgment and professionalism when interacting with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Solid communicator: Exceptional visual presentation skills (i.e. PowerPoint). Exceptional written communication skills (both in English and Portuguese).
Requirements and qualifications
  • Graduated in a top-tier university program in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field, achieving above-average academic results.
  • At least one year of experience in an Investor Relations role (experience in a Private Equity firm is a plus).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and an aptitude to learn other applications quickly.
  • Participation in student organizations related to financial markets is highly regarded.
  • A solid understanding of private equity, finance and accounting principles.
