Job description
Orientates technically and supports members in agricultural and financial matters, such as crop rotations, soil management, planting seasons, varieties to be planted, inputs, and other crops, aiming to increase productivity and economic viability.
Main responsibilities
- Provides technical guidance and support to members on agricultural and financial issues, including crop rotations, soil management, planting seasons, varieties, inputs, etc., to enhance productivity and economic sustainability.
- Manages costs with members through meetings involving FAPA, Seeds, and Input Commercials, aiming to increase crop profitability.
- Conducts regular visits to members' farms for crop monitoring, pest, weed, and disease diagnostics, and management recommendations.
- Suggests seed multiplication fields, monitors, and prescribes management practices to ensure quality.
- Holds harvest closing meetings to share best practices and improve production efficiency.
- Communicates strategic directives, commercial policies, and internal standards to members.
- Encourages the use of agricultural management tools like SIGMA and programs such as PAGR.
- Provides environmental legislation guidance, assisting with document submission for property regularization.
- Inspects member properties to verify resource application, issuing technical reports for banks.
- Provides agronomic prescriptions, recommending inputs to meet legal purchase requirements.
- Compiles property data through visual, laboratory analyses, and general information for reports.
- Registers inventory of inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides to meet member needs and procurement flow.
- Assists in organizing training and seminars to enhance member property management skills.
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy.
- Experience in technical assistance to producers.
- Knowledge of Agricultural Legislation and Market.
- Project management experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Office Suite.
- Active CREA registration.
- Advanced English is desirable.
