Title: OTM Consultant

Location: Remote – sitting in Brazil

Duration: 8-month contract with possible extensions through end of 2025

Pay Rate: $8-20/hr USD (flexibility based on experience)

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), including at least 2 full lifecycle upgrade projects.
• Experience with OTM upgrades to version 6.5.x or similar major releases.
• Strong technical and functional expertise in OTM architecture, workflows, configurations, and integrations.
• Experience with Oracle database administration tasks supporting OTM, including schema updates, performance tuning, and backup/recovery.
• Familiarity with infrastructure aspects such as server migrations and middleware configurations.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and creating/optimizing stored procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in large-scale logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments.
• Experience with performance testing and capacity planning for OTM.

Job Description: We seek a highly skilled Technical Functional OTM Specialist to support our Oracle Transportation Management upgrade across three environments, aiming for completion by year-end. Responsibilities include developing new functionality, testing, and managing updates and new versions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end OTM upgrade process across three environments.
• Develop and implement new functionalities aligned with business requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing of enhancements, customizations, and upgrades.
• Create, review, and optimize stored procedures, SQL queries, and database objects.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on database, server, and integration requirements.
• Ensure system stability during updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues post-upgrade.
• Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
