Job Summary

In this role, you will Performs functions related to order entry, incoming receipts, material tracking, production and inventory control for material warehouse department. Provides documentation of movement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize ERP or MRP system (scanners where applicable) for all receipts, transfers, and shipments.

  • Conveys, sorts, and places materials to fill work orders, sales orders and/or requests for material(s), finished goods and other items as needed.

  • Verifies and maintains records of outgoing shipments.

  • Assembles, marks, opens, weighs, counts and verifies various materials, product(s), and supplies. Palletize and shrink-wrap product. Operates forklift to stack or tier items stored in the warehouse. Loads and unloads trucks when necessary.

  • Verifies product to purchase order and completes the required paperwork and labels where applicable.

  • Completes required cycle counts throughout the fiscal month as required and at year-end.

  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, orderly, and safe.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Or Equivalent required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be able to work assigned shift(s) with overtime as required to complete assignments if necessary.

  • Sitting and/or standing for extended periods may occur as well as getting to and from offices and building sites.

  • If specifically necessitated by customer requirements, must be able to see with or without corrective lenses and distinguish color differences for product and safety issues.

  • Hearing ability should be sufficient to hear and react to audible alarms from distances up to 150 feet.

  • The ability to be able to lift and carry various items up to 50 pounds for manufacturing positions or 30 pounds for administrative positions is required.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to work assigned shift(s) with overtime as required to complete assignments if necessary.
