Job Duties

Under supervision, delivers and/or accompanies PSL equipment to the worksite. Provides chemical handling services, equipment rig-up/rig-down, and tank measurement during the job. Learns basic operations, including but not limited to: (1) performing pre/post job equipment inspections, (2) conducting preventative maintenance, and (3) operating support equipment (e.g., Fluid Storage, Chemical Tanks, suction manifolding, discharge lines). Completes required training (e.g., essential math, safety training) via our career development system. Assists in assembling and preparing equipment for installation and service, as well as cleanup and preparation for subsequent jobs. Skills are acquired through supervised experience and training, typically 3-6 months as an Operator Assistant I, and after passing company tests and meeting competency requirements. Basic mathematical, reading, and writing skills are required, with basic computer skills preferred. A valid driver's license is required. Promotes safety and environmental awareness, complying with all safety and environmental regulations, and actively participates in quality improvement processes.
