Avra is looking for an Operator to join the Operations team. You will own cross-functional projects spanning revenue operations, delivery, GTM, finance, and people. You will tackle high-stakes problems, fix gaps, and design scalable processes using AI tools as infrastructure.

This role requires seniority earned through delivery, organizational skills, and a tech-native mindset. You will help scale an AI-first business from the ground up with impact across the organization.

The role

This is our first hire in the Operations team. We're looking for an Operator who is high agency and tech-native. You'll sit at the center of how Avra runs. It's an internal role. You will make the company work better.

You'll own the cross-functional projects that don't fit neatly into any one team. Your work will span revenue operations, delivery, go-to-market, finance, and people.

You will take high-stakes problems, and fix them. You will always focus your attention on the highest-impact area for our scaling company, and you understand that area will shift over time.

You design real solutions and ship things that stick. You reach for best practice externally before building from scratch (you never reinvent the wheel). You treat AI tools as infrastructure, not novelty, they're how we move faster.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cross-functional projects. You take ownership & make it happen. Examples: you'll build our Revenue Operations function. You'll decrease Time to Production by improving coordination across GTM, Forward Deployment and Tech. You'll make Avra more reliable by building the right tooling to monitor SLAs working with Product & Tech.

• Own operational execution: design and continuously improve processes that keep us moving. You'll spot what's broken or missing before anyone asks. You're not scared of running a process until it is fully automated, or filling gaps til tooling is in place.

• Turn data into decisions: you ask "so what." You're not satisfied with surface-level answers. You help different teams make decisions.

• Build with AI and critical thinking. Use modern AI tooling to build internal apps, automations and workflows. You do this with judgment: you understand the limits, you check the outputs. You build in a way that is open & maintainable (not a black box)

What we're looking for

• A track record of delivering. You've been promoted because you consistently ship high-quality operational work.

• A track record of delivering through influence. You have ran projects where you had no direct authority over the people whose work you depended on (and you still delivered)

• You have already built trusted tooling, flows, dashboards. And you have recently used AI to build these processes. Important as you will create systems that let a 25-person team behave like a much larger one.

• Direct and collaborative communication. You get to the point and you influence across every level, from specialists to the CEO.

• A strong sense of ownership. You take end-to-end responsibility, nothing falls through the cracks on your watch. You think about your work as improving key company metrics (instead of process for the sake of it)

Experience and qualifications

• Experience: ~4 years or more. With clear evidence of progression driven by operational delivery.

• Industry: experience in hyper-growth tech start-ups in agile, cross-functional teams. Consulting, product, or biz/rev-ops backgrounds are a plus (you need to have operated, not just advised)

• Academic Background: Bachelor's degree, or any body of work that shows long-term commitment and continuous learning.

• Tech-native skills. You are familiar with Slack, Google, Linear, Claude, etc.
