ROSEN is seeking an Operations Planner in Rio de Janeiro to pro-actively address scheduling conflicts across projects and regions. You will support management with data-driven analyses, scenarios, and recommendations to improve service scheduling efficiency and resource use.

The role emphasizes regional S&OP leadership, process improvement, and collaboration with project teams to optimize outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or similar.
  • 3+ years of professional Project Management, Supply Chain & Operations experience.
  • Advanced planning and organizing skills.
  • Advanced English required; Spanish nice-to-have; CVs must be submitted in English.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead and coordinate regional S&OP processes with data gathering, demand and supply reviews, and regional meetings.
  • Conduct business analyses, scenarios, and recommendations to support management decisions.
  • Promote continuous improvement of planning, scheduling and S&OP processes.
  • Identify and escalate scheduling conflicts and risks; propose mitigations.
  • Define global guidelines, workflows, procedures, templates for Overall Service Scheduling.
  • Advise Project Management Team on efficient resource utilization and actions to optimize costs.

What you can expect

The Operations Planner (Internal job tittle: Overall Service Scheduling Professional) supports ROSEN in addressing upcoming scheduling conflicts (across all projects, Business Divisions, Regions) pro-actively, identifying potential service scheduling risks, anticipating unwanted events and proposing related short-term and long-term actions to mitigate these in order to increase customer satisfaction and to drive process efficiency as well as an effective use of resources.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the regional S&OP process, including data gathering, demand & supply review, pre-S&OP and Regional Executive S&OP meetings
  • Conduct business analyses, scenarios and recommendations to support management decisions
  • Promote continuous improvement of planning, scheduling and S&OP processes
  • pro-actively identify, moderate and escalation scheduling conflicts
  • identifying and address tool movement risks and ineffective tool occupational periods
  • identifying risks imposed by other resources and ineffective utilization of these
  • proposing solutions to mitigate the identified issues short-term and long-term with the overall group interest as the driving force
  • contribution to defining Global guidelines, workflow, procedures, instructions and templates along the overall service scheduling process
  • recommend the Project Management Team about efficient utilization of the resources in an effective manner
  • proposing actions to optimize the use of resources
  • identifying and proposing methods to optimize provision costs and efforts
Authority about:
  • Drive planning discipline, data quality and KPI governance
  • Challenge planning assumptions and requesting clarifications from stakeholders when data, priorities or feasibility are unclear
  • Define Regional guidelines, instructions and templates for Overall Service Scheduling functions in collaboration with the global OSSP team
  • moderate scheduling conflicts between Project Managers/Tool Leads/other relevant and involved parties and escalat if necessary to superior management
  • encourage all involved parties to quickly come to an efficient solution in the group’s interest

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or similar
  • 3+ years of professional Project Management, Supply Chain & Operations experience
  • Broad technical knowledge and good experience with planning/ organizing methods
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional planning processes.
  • Knowledge of S&OP / Integrated Business Planning methodologies.
  • Advanced Excel and data analytics capabilities; Power BI experience preferred.
  • Advanced English is required, Spanish is a nice-to-have. CVs MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ENGLISH.
