Description
Drive operational excellence within Amazon's transportation network by focusing on lane definition, high-quality implementation in partnership with configuration teams, and performance monitoring across Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) and Amazon Logistics (AMZL) operations. Collaborate with speed and finance teams to align on the best overall strategy to meet both strategic and operational goals. This role requires hands-on operational experience and emphasizes quality execution and management of transportation lanes within Amazon’s growing network. The position focuses on delivering day-to-day operational excellence.
Key job responsibilities
Define and optimize transportation lanes based on volume patterns, service requirements, and network capacity
Ensure proper implementation of new lanes and route configurations
Raise data points using operational performance evidences to influence and propose changes
Collaborate with sort centers and transportation teams to validate lane viability
Coordinate with sort centers, transportation execution teams, and supply chain planning teams
Lead daily/weekly operations reviews with key stakeholders
Facilitate problem-solving sessions to address operational challenges
Basic Qualifications
Experience in program or project management
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience in route planning and optimization
Fluence in Portuguese and English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading process improvements
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
