The Skilled Operator supports and executes operational activities and processes according to established specifications and guidelines related to quality, safety, and environmental standards. The role aims to achieve production and operational targets within the assigned area.

The Skilled Operator is considered a basic level of operational role, performing routine processes in production. They operate equipment and machinery that require proficiency, acquired through on-the-job and specialized training.

Knowledge of materials, equipment, and tools is essential, and gaining experience and skills takes time and effort.

The activities involve a significant portion of routine work, performed based on training and experience, with assistance from Multi-Skilled Operators, Supervisors, or Team Leaders when necessary.

Job Description:

• Operational Tasks: Executes activities such as loading, unloading, transportation, cleaning, labeling, and equipment operation to contribute to a safe, effective, and efficient production process.
• Maintenance and Repair Tasks: Inspects equipment periodically, performs minor maintenance, signals defects, and conducts small repairs when applicable.
• Reporting: Records data and information on production orders and activities in appropriate logs or systems for comprehensive management and tracking of progress.
• Continuous Improvement: Reports process deviations and opportunities for improvement to supervisors to optimize processes, tools, and systems.
• Safety and Compliance: Works in accordance with all relevant regulations and standards, promotes SHEQ awareness, reports hazards, and takes appropriate actions to address unsafe situations.
• Cleanliness: Ensures the work area is clean, safe, and free of hazards, maintaining the appearance of production lines and work areas.
