Responsibilities and assignments

• Register merchandise, verify codes (cash register system vs. product labels), handle cash receipts, give change, pack goods, count cash at opening, closing, and cash reconciliation, organize the checkout area (packaging, promotional flyers, communication materials, carts, baskets), support the cashier (customer service, exchanges, issuing invoices), and assist with sales and customer service;
• Prepare the cash register before starting operations, ensuring all necessary materials are available;
• Scan products using barcode readers or manually input product numbers, especially for items like leafy greens;
• Accept various payment methods including checks, vouchers, cards, or cash;
• Record transaction amounts received via card during operations;
• Conduct daily cash reconciliation at the end of the shift for treasury review;
• Coordinate with the packer to verify prices when discrepancies occur between labels and system records;
• Adhere to the company's Quality Policy and Objectives.

Requirements and qualifications

• Complete elementary education;
• Work on a 6x1 schedule with fixed weekly days off;
• Availability to work from 1:40 PM to 10:00 PM;
• No prior experience required;
• Salary: R$2,125.00
