Responsibilities and assignments

• Registering merchandise, verifying codes (cash register system vs. product labels), handling cash, giving change, packaging goods, counting cash (for opening, closing, and cash reconciliation), organizing the checkout area (packaging, promotional flyers, communication materials, carts, and baskets), assisting the Cashier Supervisor (customer service, exchanges, issuing invoices, etc.), and general customer service/vending;
• Preparing the cash register before starting operations, gathering all necessary materials.
• Scanning products using barcode readers or manually entering product numbers, especially for items like leafy greens.
• Accepting various forms of payment, including checks, vouchers, cards, or cash.
• Recording received amounts on reports during transactions, regardless of payment method.
• Verifying the cash register daily at the end of the shift for subsequent review by the treasury.
• Asking the packer to verify prices when discrepancies are found between labels and system records.
• Complying with company policies and quality objectives.

Requirements and qualifications

• Complete Elementary Education;
• Work schedule 6X1 with fixed weekly day off;
• Availability to work from 13:40 to 22:00;
• No previous experience necessary;
• Salary R$ 2,144.00
