Responsibilities and assignments

• Registering merchandise, verifying codes (cash register system vs. product labels), handling cash, providing change, packaging goods, counting cash registers (for opening, closing, and cash reconciliation), organizing the checkout area (packaging, promotional flyers, communication materials, carts, and baskets), assisting the cashier supervisor (customer service, exchanges, issuing invoices, etc.), and general customer service/vending;
• Preparing the cash register before starting operations, gathering all necessary materials;
• Registering customer products via barcode scanner or manually entering product numbers, especially for items like foliage;
• Accepting various payment methods such as checks, tickets, cards, or cash;
• Recording received amounts via card on the report sheet during operations;
• Conducting daily cash register checks at the end of the shift for subsequent review by the treasury;
• Requesting the packer to verify prices when discrepancies occur between labels and system records;
• Complying with the company's Quality Policy and Objectives.

Minimum requirements

• Complete Elementary Education;
• Work schedule 6x1 with a fixed day off weekly;
• Availability to work from 13:40 to 22:00;
• No prior experience necessary;
• Salary R$2,199.00
