Responsibilities and assignments

• Registering merchandise, checking codes (cash register system vs. product labels), handling cash, providing change, packaging goods, counting cash registers (opening, closing, and cash reconciliation), organizing the checkout area (packaging, promotional flyers, communication materials, carts, and baskets), assisting the cashier supervisor (customer service, exchanges, issuing invoices, etc.), and general customer service/vending;
• Preparing the cash register before starting operations with all necessary materials;
• Scanning products using barcode readers or manually entering product numbers, especially for items like foliage;
• Accepting various payment methods such as checks, vouchers, cards, or cash;
• Recording received amounts on reports during transactions, including card payments;
• Daily cash register reconciliation at the end of the shift for treasury verification;
• Asking the packer to verify prices when discrepancies occur between labels and system entries;
• Complying with the company's Quality Policy and Objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Complete Elementary Education;
• 6x1 work schedule with fixed weekly day off;
• Availability to work from 1:40 PM to 10:00 PM;
• No prior experience necessary.
