Our clients drive our projects – and no two OW Digital projects are the same. You’ll work with diverse teams to deliver unique products across industries. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will manage technical projects involving data engineering, model selection and design, and infrastructure deployment in internal and client environments. Develop deep expertise in a specific industry (financial services, health, life sciences, etc.), while being comfortable developing methods based on first principles, curiosity, and your software engineering foundations. Collaborate with Oliver Wyman partners, engage with clients to understand their challenges, and craft solutions with OW Digital specialists and consultants.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Exploring data, building models, and evaluating solutions to solve core business problems.
2. Explaining, refining, and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the model development process.
3. Staying updated with the latest in your domain and emerging data methodologies.
4. Promoting best practices in modeling, coding, and data engineering.
5. Leading the development of proprietary algorithms, techniques, or tools on projects and assets.
6. Working with Partners and Principals to shape proposals leveraging data science and engineering capabilities.
