Qualificações

Nutrients Sales Account Manager, Brazil/Mercosur

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a full-time consultant based out of Brazil to help us grow our nutrients business in Brazil/Mercosur.

This role offers excellent growth potential both for the business and for the individual who can deliver results in a complex, rapidly changing work environment. The person in this position will manage, develop, and lead sales and market development efforts for his/her assigned territory. He/she will lead development and implementation of sales strategy in assigned territory to capture opportunities at key accounts Pharma and identify key segments for growth and is expected to achieve sales goals and budget targets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Foster and create customer loyalty through high professional conduct and practices that focus on and are consistent with Balchem core values.
  2. Develop strong and compelling sales strategies and execution plans for assigned territory on existing and new Minerals & Nutrients products.
  3. Develop, implement and manage plans and systems to nurture and grow sales with existing customers and target, develop and convert new customers.
  4. Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  5. Sales territory being Brazil and other Mercosur countries such as Argentina, Chile, Uruguay & Paraguay specially to Pharma accounts for sales of VitaCholine in human nutrition, microencapsulated nutrients (Vitashure), Albion Minerals, K2Vital and OptiMSM.
  6. Monitor & report competitors as far as pricing, capacity and lead times with focus on local manufacturers.
  7. Keep constant follow up of local regulatory scenario reporting any possible change that could affect Balchem business within the region.
  8. Develop strong technical knowledge of products offered for sale, including therapeutic benefits and applications.
  9. Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant information to management, including sales call reports and monthly work progress reports.
  10. Establish and maintain membership in appropriate trade associations, such as ABIAD, Abifisa and Sindusfarma.
  11. Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures including use of company safety equipment (PPE) and equipment safeguards.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Excellent sales and negotiating skills, technical, communication, presentation, energetic, motivated, personable, multi-task, oriented, growth oriented.
  2. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
  3. Undergraduate degree in a business or technical discipline; MBA or other post-graduate degree is preferable.
  4. At least five years professional sales experience in the food & beverage, human nutrition or pharmaceutical industry in LATAM.
  5. Strong network in Pharma, Food & Beverage and Dietary Supplement industry.
  6. Excellent cross-functional and interpersonal skills; able to effectively interact and collaborate with all levels of complex organizations.
  7. Strong leadership, motivational and presentation skills; effective planning, organization and time management skills; strong attention to detail and follow-up.
  8. Works successfully both independently and within team settings.
