The ideal candidate will have a Nursing Technician course and experience in pediatric nursing. Qualificações

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in pediatric sample collection or pediatric nursing.
• Training in trauma-informed care or emotional support for children.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection in pediatric patients.
• Prepare patients and their families by explaining procedures.
• Collaborate with the lab and nursing teams for accurate sample collection.

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection in pediatric patients (infants, children, and adolescents)

Prepare patients and their families by clearly and calmly explaining procedures

Ensure proper identification, labeling, and handling of samples

Monitor for adverse reactions and provide appropriate care when necessary

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming collection environment

Collaborate with the lab and nursing teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in sample collection

Document procedures and interactions according to institutional protocols

Strictly follow biosafety and infection control regulations

Completed Nursing Technician course with active COREN-SP registration

Certification in phlebotomy or equivalent training (preferred)

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in pediatric sample collection or pediatric nursing

Strong communication skills and empathy toward children and their families

Knowledge of pediatric anatomy and a child-centered care approach

Previous experience in pediatric hospitals, clinics, or laboratories

Training in trauma-informed care or emotional support for children

Fluency in a second language (preferred but not required)

Full transportation allowance (no payroll deduction)
