We are looking for a skilled Network Security Engineer to join the Network Security Services team. This professional will be responsible for managing firewall operations, supporting security-related configurations, and ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards. The role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement and support security solutions in dynamic, large-scale environments, including cloud-based infrastructures.

We are looking for a skilled Network Security Engineer to join the Network Security Services team. This professional will be responsible for managing firewall operations, supporting security-related configurations, and ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards. The role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement and support security solutions in dynamic, large-scale environments, including cloud-based infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage 24x7 firewall requests, including:

Rules and policy configuration

Firewall cleanups

B2B VPN setups

• General firewall-related changes and support
• Support incident response activities by expediting and implementing necessary firewall rules
• Assess and migrate firewall policies to new environments, including cloud platforms such as AWS
• Design and implement technical security solutions based on customer requests and established SLAs
• Provide second-level technical support and advisory for security requests
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including updates and management reporting
• Ensure all network and security activities comply with customer standards and internal policies
• Contribute to the development and proposal of security architecture and guidelines for enterprise environments
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, approvers, and service owners
• Develop high-quality technical documentation and reference architectures to assist teams in implementing secure and compliant solutions
• Conduct security architecture assessments and create actionable plans to close identified control or knowledge gaps

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required (preferred fields: Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering)
• Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience designing and deploying global security infrastructure and services
• Deep expertise in firewall and network security technologies, including:
• Cisco ASA
• Cisco Firepower
• URL filtering and malware protection
• Industry certifications preferred:
• ITIL v3
• CCSP
• CCNA/CCNP Security or equivalent certifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, risk management, audit, or compliance roles
• Proven success in deploying enterprise security solutions in complex and/or global environments
• Experience with a broad range of network and security technologies:
• AWS
• F5 Load Balancers
• Telecom transports
• Routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF)
• Switching, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, and wireless
• Network monitoring and capacity management
• Strong background in collecting security requirements and assessing security solutions in large-scale environments
• Demonstrated leadership in network or security teams providing global services
• Experience in defining security architecture, guidelines, and aligning controls to regulatory frameworks
