Overview

The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available network solutions.

This position is remote in Brazil

What you will be doing:

1. Lead the design, system configuration, direct system installation, define, document, and enforce system standards to establish a networking environment.
2. Secure the network system by establishing procedures and access controls, and defining additional controls as necessary.
3. Develop and implement incident response processes and solutions.
4. Operate as the customer's trusted advisor to diagnose complex system issues with multiple influencing factors.
5. Develop and implement recovery procedures for systems.
6. Ensure documentation for network systems and procedures is consistent and up-to-date.
7. Partner with relevant departments to develop network systems supporting new applications or customer solutions.
8. Operate as an innovative thought leader and independently implement effective changes to processes or technology.
9. Present documentation for audits of network devices to ensure compliance with standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
10. Mentor, coach, and train other team members.
11. Participate in professional associations, outreach activities, or educational opportunities to stay current with industry best practices and technical skills.

14. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the principal duties of the job.
15. Willingness to travel up to 10%.
