What are your responsibilities as Network Automation Expert?

• Support R&D, Delivery and sales process for IP/MPLS and Overlay Network Automation Solution for B2B services
• HLD and LLD creation
• Design of Interface Agreements
• Configuration of Data Models and Integration workflow based YANG, NETCONF/RESTCONF, Python
• Use Cases Design and Configuration
• Test Plan review and preparation
• Identifying and clarifying capabilities of 3-rd party vendors controllers, NMS, EMS, monitoring and configuration management interfaces of NEs (P, PE, CPE), creation HLD for integration with NC Network Automation Platform
• Development of Solution demonstration scenarios, PoC and operation process specifications and Pilot acceptance criteria;
• Preparation of technical part of response to RFPs and RFIs (network solution, delivery approach; efforts estimation)
• Configuration and demonstration to customers of Network Automation Solution to support sales opportunity process and delivery projects
• Participating in review and development of Service Design for GPON and IP/MPLS/SR
• Consulting and Work with Solution Architects to support pre-sale and delivery processes
• Verification, improvement, development and ownership of Network Automation Solution for packet networks (IP/MPLS, FTTx, Metro Ethernet, etc)
• Participating in development of high-quality Network Automation stack of products

What skills and experience will you need for this role?

• 7+ years working as Network Engineer/ Designer/Architect or Operation Process Automation expert, in vendor or integrator, or as network engineer or senior system analyst in Telco projects
• Experience with GPON and IP/MPLS/SR Networks
• Hold CISCO CCNP or Juniper JNCIP – highly recommended
• Internet Access provisioning, ztp, OLT and ONT configuration and monitoring, OLT replacement, service migration – nice to have hands on experience in configuration
• Deep understanding of Service Assurance and NOC/SOC process from OSS prospective
• Deep Knowledge of traditional network equipment and related NMS/EMS and new containerized/ virtualized network functions and network automation approaches
• Experience with Python based network automation processes
• Advanced understanding of Networking Concepts (VLANs, OpenVPN, iptables, DNS masq, tunneling, overlay networking, layer 4-7 services, topology discovery, path computation, etc.);
• Familiarity with Networking Protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, 802.1Q, GRE, VXLAN, L2VPN, MPLS, BGP, IS-IS, Segment Routing, Radio over Ethernet, etc);
• Demonstrated knowledge of major industry standards: IETF, IEEE, TNM, ETSI, ITU, ONF, TMF,
• Deep knowledge in telecom technologies and Telco business processes;
• Nice to have: Experience with YANG-based data modeling or NETCONF understanding.
• Availability to work from office in Hybrid mode

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Maths, or related field
