Responsibilities
- Murex functional and technical knowledge is required.
- Develop, amend, and troubleshoot business workflows: contract, confirmations, settlements, and collateral.
- Resolve daily end-user issues on both functional and some technical sides with respect to OPS / BO processing.
- Address day-to-day tasks to complete various OPS, BO, and MarkitWire requirements.
- Knowledge of Markitwire and Marginsphere is a plus.
- Build new upstream/downstream integrations.
- Convert existing integration points with Murex version changes.
- Develop MxML workflows and exchanges.
- Use XSL transformations and scripting (bsh, ksh, etc.).
- Assist support groups in resolving integration requests or issues.
- Contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables.
- Perform testing for deliverables and participate in release cycles (SIT/UAT).
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve environment issues and prepare for cloud deployment.
- Analyze, develop, and contribute to project solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Murex MxML exchange development.
- Knowledge of pre-trade framework and MSL scripting language.
Skills
Must have
- At least 2 years of Murex operations and MxML/WF experience.
- Knowledge of financial products preferred.
- Functional and technical knowledge of Murex.
- Experience with business workflows, SQL, XSL, Swift, Collateral, MarkitWire, and Margin Manager.
- Strong OPS processing, trade lifecycle, and back-office understanding.
- Proficiency in batch processing, cash flow management, and end-of-day processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and relationship skills.
- Experience supporting end-users and resolving daily issues.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Python/Java, Shell Scripting, CICD, MX DM, SQL (Oracle/Sybase), and Unix commands.
- BS or higher degree in Finance, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Experience with Murex implementations, upgrades, and market data management.
- Strong client focus, communication, teamwork, leadership, planning, analytical decision-making skills.
