MUMPS Developer – Financial Systems (Remote – Americas)

About the Role

We’re supporting a client in the Finance space in their search for a skilled MUMPS Developer to support and enhance core financial platforms. This is a unique opportunity to work with legacy technology that still powers mission-critical systems across banking infrastructure. If you're a MUMPS wizard or have experience with GT.M or InterSystems Caché, especially in a financial environment, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

1. Maintain and enhance financial applications built using MUMPS, GT.M, or InterSystems Caché.
2. Debug and optimize legacy code in a high-volume, transaction-heavy environment.
3. Participate in migration planning and modernization discussions.

What We’re Looking For

1. At least 5 years of experience with MUMPS, GT.M, or InterSystems Caché/ObjectScript.
2. Financial services experience is required (e.g., banking, trading, ledger/accounting systems).
3. Strong understanding of transaction processing, data security, and system reliability.
4. Ability to navigate and improve legacy codebases in production environments.
5. Solid English communication skills and comfort working in a distributed, remote team.
