The Multi-Site Loss Prevention Site Manager is responsible for overseeing two or more sites in the Logistics space. Responsibilities include Theft investigations, Workplace Violence/Workplace Incident Management interviews, and Physical Security of buildings.
Responsible for establishing risk-based security standards for Amazon´s First, Middle and Last Mile locations and the methods for maintaining and improving those standards. The specific areas of focus include, loss exposure/loss controls analysis, investigations of theft and loss, physical security systems and controls, contract guarding services, loss prevention education and awareness programs, workplace violence and loss prevention audit programs. In order to ensure that the said standards and methods are deployed, in respect of strategic plans, consistently across business units within the region, the job holder will develop and maintain key relationships and collaborations with regional leaders, First Mile, Middle Mile and Last Mile Operational team as well as other relevant cross functional teams throughout the organization. The role is field-based.
Key deliverables:
Functional leadership; Risk assessment and management; Security and Loss Prevention (S&LP) Performance Management; Regulatory, legal and labor compliance; Compliance to internal standards; Budgeting and cost management; Physical Protection systems, technology and services; Awareness & training for non-S&LP and S&LP personnel; Handling incidents, investigations and security intelligence; Crisis Management and resilience; Key internal and external contacts.
Responsibilities:
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business, Engineering, Logistics or an equivalent);
- Experience in security and loss prevention within supply chain, industrial environment, or express distribution and courier services;
- Relevant qualification in loss prevention, security management, and administration of justice, related field or equivalent experience is required;
- Extensive loss prevention experience, including significant experience at management level;
- Experience in conducting root cause analysis, prioritizing key factors; act decisively, promptly and confidently; flexible in approach; able to operate with limited guidance from management;
- Customer/ solution focused with the ability to identify customer expectation and adjust language and style;
- Advanced English and Fluent Portuguese (both verbal and written communication);
- Availability to travel up to 25% of time and as required by business needs in Brazil;
- CPP, PSP, TAPA training will be noted as a plus;
- Interviewing and Interrogation experience desired, and Wicklander and Zulawski certification is a plus;
- Operational management experience in distribution and express delivery is advantageous but not essential;
- Functional knowledge in developing, implementing, maintaining, and managing security policies and procedures; conducted physical security risk assessments of facilities including manufacturing, distribution, trade, and office;
