As a Software Engineer on the WEX Benefits Technology team, you will work in a collaborative environment with Product Managers and customers to address challenges in the employee benefits landscape. Your role involves designing customer-centric solutions, building high-quality software using the latest technologies, and practicing test-driven development.

How you'll make an impact:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer challenges.
2. Use data to measure, inspect, and drive decisions.
3. Design, test, code, and instrument new solutions.
4. Enhance our engineering processes with TDD, BDD, Microservice, and Vertical Slice Architectures.
5. Support live applications through proactive monitoring, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement.
6. Analyze existing systems to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
7. Mentor peers and foster continuous learning within the team.
8. Apply team processes and best practices independently.
9. Review work collaboratively with senior team members and managers.
10. Continuously learn new technologies.

Experience you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Solid software engineering experience.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for modern technologies and design.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Proficiency in C#.

Technology Nice-To-Have or Quick Learner:

• Modern Web UI Frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
