Jobtailor is seeking a software test professional to participate in planning and executing tests of low to medium complexity within a software project. You will identify defects or opportunities to improve the delivery process, test different scenarios, analyze results, and document tests performed, issues found, and proposed solutions to ensure correct functionality and quality according to requirements.

Strong knowledge of testing concepts, strategies, and life cycle, together with experience

Qualificações

• Knowledge of testing concepts including unit/integration/system/acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with testing strategies, life cycle and techniques.
• Understanding of software development methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in planning and executing tests for low to medium complexity.

Participate in the planning and execution of functional and non-functional tests of low to medium complexity within the software project; identify systemic defects or opportunities to improve the delivery process, test different scenarios, analyze results, and document the tests performed, issues found, and proposed solutions to ensure the correct functionality and quality of the software under development according to the specified requirements.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the processes and routines of the area, requiring little supervision.
• Knowledge of the principles and fundamentals of software testing: concepts (unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing), testing strategies, the test life cycle, and testing techniques.
• Software development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile (Scrum and Kanban), and DevOps.
• Test automation tools, defect/issue tracking tools, test environments, and related tools.
• Testing techniques such as black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing, performance testing, security testing, and others.
• Software quality assurance processes.
• Analysis of software requirements and creation of effective test cases: ability to read and interpret requirements, identify relevant test scenarios, and document them effectively.
