Job summary

CI&T is seeking a Senior QA Automation to join our Brazil team. You will design and implement automated tests for web, mobile, and desktop applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

The role requires expertise in Selenium, Appium, and related frameworks, plus strong collaboration with developers and cross-functional teams. Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with automated testing across web, mobile, and desktop apps.
• Proficiency with Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright or Pytest.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Identify, document, and track defects in a bug-tracking system.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

• Continuously improve test processes and automation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Perform back-end testing to validate API and server-side components.

As a Senior QA Automation, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of our software products. Your expertise in automated testing will drive the creation of robust solutions while collaborating with talented cross-functional teams. Your work will ensure that we consistently deliver high-quality applications that meet and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

Requirements

• Proficiency in testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail, Jira, or similar.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
• Exposure to API testing and security testing.
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
