The Role
AlphaSights' Infrastructure Engineers ensure our systems are performant, highly available, and resilient to failures. As an infra engineer, you will be responsible for planning, building, and maintaining our core AWS infrastructure and our CI/CD pipelines and toolset.

What You’ll Do

• Create solutions that enable our engineering teams to deploy code quickly, reliably, and securely.
• Ensure the availability, scalability, performance, and security of our cloud infrastructure.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot application and infrastructure-related issues promptly.
• Provision cloud resources based on capacity, computing, and security requirements.
• Implement best security practices, including zero trust and principle of least privilege across all critical systems and resources.
• Collaborate with development teams to manage and execute DevOps and infrastructure initiatives.
• Evaluate and research alternative solutions to improve internal DevOps processes.
• Continuously monitor and refine our critical infrastructure and applications.

Who You Are

• You likely have a degree in a STEM subject, but we also value skills acquired through alternative routes.
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles with proven results.
• 2+ years managing AWS infrastructure (EKS, RDS, S3, etc.) and experience with CI/CD tooling and concepts.
• Experience working at a similar level within an engineering team, with a desire to advance your career.
• A proven track record of making a demonstrable impact in previous roles.
• Highly driven, proactive, and able to work independently to achieve excellent outcomes.
• Meticulous with high standards and attention to detail.
