• 15+ years in data engineering / architecture (Principal-level).
• Deep Microsoft expertise: Fabric, Synapse, OneLake (1+ year).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (2+ years).
• Experience with Delta / Parquet optimization, Spark (5+ years).
• Experience with dimensional modeling / star schema (5+ years).
• Data governance & security (3+ years).
• CI / CD pipelines for data (2+ years).

Responsabilidades

• Design & build data platforms using Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop scalable pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
• Optimize data performance using Delta / Parquet, partitioning, and Spark.
• Model data into easy-to-use structures (star schema, dimensional modeling).
• Ensure governance & security with Purview, RBAC, ACLs.
• Automate deployments with CI / CD for data pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders.

About the Role

We’re looking for a senior, autonomous Microsoft Data Architect to lead data strategy and architecture for one of our high-impact startup clients. You’ll be the go-to expert for building, scaling, and securing modern data platforms using the Microsoft ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

• Design & build data platforms using Microsoft Fabric (Synapse, OneLake, etc.).
• Develop scalable pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
• Optimize data performance using Delta / Parquet, partitioning, and Spark.
• Model data into easy-to-use structures (star schema, dimensional modeling).
• Ensure governance & security with Purview, RBAC, ACLs, and related frameworks.
• Automate deployments with CI / CD for data pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
