A leading company in the cable manufacturing industry seeks a Metallurgy Engineer to enhance metallurgical processes. In this role, you'll focus on operational excellence, product quality, and process development, while ensuring compliance with global HSE standards. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in metallurgical or materials engineering and have strong leadership and communication skills.
We are looking for a Metallurgy Engineer to join our team, reporting to the Production Manager to coordinate the metallurgical processes related to the manufacturing of copper conductors including energy, automotive and elevators cables, with a focus on operational excellence (output in volume, OEE, material efficiency, OVC, labor efficiency; number of machine breakdowns and wire ruptures ), product quality, development of new processes, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with Prysmian's global standards in safety, sustainability and innovation .

Knowledge in industrial metallurgical processes, preferably in cable, conductor or metallurgy industries.
Experience in technical leadership roles and team coordination.
