Job summary
Roquette Group in Itapevi, Brazil, seeks an MES and Advanced Analytics Specialist to join the Manufacturing Technology team. Hybrid work model (2 days on-site per week).
You will deploy, maintain, and improve the global MES, champion LATAM analytics, and translate manufacturing needs into data-driven solutions using Power BI, Python, and SQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, production visibility, and digital adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field and experience with MES, manufacturing tech, or digital manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience configuring or supporting MES platforms and related systems.
- Fluent Portuguese and English or strong bilingual capability.
Responsibilities
- Support the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Roquette's global MES solution.
- Provide functional and technical support for manufacturing sites, including troubleshooting and escalation management.
- Identify recurring MES issues, document root causes, and contribute to CAPA plans.
- Support production data quality and OEE reporting accuracy.
- Partner with Operations, Manufacturing Technology, IT/OT, and global teams on deployments, testing, and adoption.
- Train and support key users on MES tools and best practices.
- Act as Advanced Analytics champion for LATAM by identifying use cases and translating needs into analytical solutions.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting to improve visibility and performance.
- Apply SQL, Python for investigations and continuous improvement projects.
- Build prototypes and digital solutions (Power BI, Python, SQL) to demonstrate business value.

To support our continued growth and digital transformation journey, we are looking for an MES and Advanced Analytics Specialist to join our Manufacturing Technology team.
This position is based in Itapevi, São Paulo, Brazil, with a hybrid work model (2 days on-site per week).

As part of a global organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across different regions, supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), digital manufacturing solutions, and advanced analytics projects that create measurable value for our business.
As MES and Advanced Analytics Specialist, you will support the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Roquette's global Manufacturing Execution System while acting as a digital and analytics champion for LATAM operations. You will help connect manufacturing challenges with data-driven solutions, driving operational efficiency, production visibility, and digital adoption across the region.
- Supporting, maintaining, deploying, and continuously improving the global MES solution aligned with corporate standards.
- Providing functional and technical support for manufacturing sites, including troubleshooting, issue investigation, and escalation management.
- Identifying recurring system issues, documenting root causes, and contributing to corrective and preventive action plans.
- Supporting production data quality and OEE reporting accuracy.
- Partnering with Operations, Manufacturing Technology, IT/OT, and global teams on deployments, testing, enhancements, and adoption initiatives.
- Training and supporting key users, supervisors, engineers, and plant teams on MES tools and best practices.
- Acting as the Advanced Analytics champion for LATAM by identifying valuable manufacturing use cases and translating operational needs into analytical solutions.
- Developing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to improve visibility, productivity analysis, and operational performance.
- Applying SQL, Python, and analytical methodologies to support investigations and continuous improvement projects.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in manufacturing systems, MES support, digital manufacturing, manufacturing technology, or related technical environments.
- Experience supporting or configuring MES platforms.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technology environments, including .NET/.NET Core, SQL Server, APIs, system integrations, and web-based applications.
- Strong SQL capabilities for data investigation, validation, and reporting.
- Experience using Python for exploratory data analysis, diagnostics, and analytics solutions.
- Power BI development experience, including data modeling and dashboard creation.
- Understanding of OT/IT collaboration within manufacturing environments.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement knowledge is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a root-cause corrective-action mindset and the ability to drive sustainable improvements.
- Ability to work independently as an individual contributor while influencing plant leadership, site stakeholders, and global technical teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate operational needs into technical requirements and explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites and balance urgent support needs with longer-term improvement work.
- Digital champion mindset with the ability to identify practical use cases, build adoption, and connect site needs with global digital capabilities.
- Fluent Portuguese and English.
