Job summary

Roquette, a family-owned global leader in plant-based ingredients and pharmaceutical excipients, seeks an MES and Advanced Analytics Specialist to join the Manufacturing Technology team in Itapevi, SP, Brazil, on a hybrid basis (2 days on-site per week).

You will deploy and maintain Roquette's global MES, champion data analytics for LATAM, and drive digital adoption across sites with Power BI, SQL, and Python-based solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Automation, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with MES platforms and manufacturing systems.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data analytics.
• Power BI development and data modeling experience.
• Fluent Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the global MES.
• Provide functional and technical MES support at sites, including troubleshooting.
• Assist in data quality and OEE reporting improvements.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions for visibility and performance.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT/OT, and global teams on deployments and adoption.

This position is based in Itapevi, São Paulo, Brazil, with a hybrid work model (2 days on-site per week).

As part of a global organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across different regions, supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), digital manufacturing solutions, and advanced analytics projects that create measurable value for our business.

Your Mission

As MES and Advanced Analytics Specialist, you will support the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Roquette’s global Manufacturing Execution System while acting as a digital and analytics champion for LATAM operations. You will help connect manufacturing challenges with data-driven solutions, driving operational efficiency, production visibility, and digital adoption across the region.

Your Experience and Talents Will Make the Difference By:

• Supporting, maintaining, deploying, and continuously improving the global MES solution aligned with corporate standards.
• Providing functional and technical support for manufacturing sites, including troubleshooting, issue investigation, and escalation management.
• Identifying recurring system issues, documenting root causes, and contributing to corrective and preventive action plans.
• Supporting production data quality and OEE reporting accuracy.
• Partnering with Operations, Manufacturing Technology, IT/OT, and global teams on deployments, testing, enhancements, and adoption initiatives.
• Training and supporting key users, supervisors, engineers, and plant teams on MES tools and best practices.
• Acting as the Advanced Analytics champion for LATAM by identifying valuable manufacturing use cases and translating operational needs into analytical solutions.
• Developing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to improve visibility, productivity analysis, and operational performance.
• Applying SQL, Python, and analytical methodologies to support investigations and continuous improvement projects.
• Building prototypes and digital solutions such as Power BI, Python, and SQL that demonstrate business value and accelerate innovation.
• Promoting a data-driven culture and driving digital adoption across LATAM manufacturing sites.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in manufacturing systems, MES support, digital manufacturing, manufacturing technology, or related technical environments.
• Experience supporting or configuring MES platforms.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technology environments, including .NET/.NET Core, SQL Server, APIs, system integrations, and web-based applications.
• Strong SQL capabilities for data investigation, validation, and reporting.
• Experience using Python for exploratory data analysis, diagnostics, and analytics solutions.
• Power BI development experience, including data modeling and dashboard creation.
• Understanding of OT/IT collaboration within manufacturing environments.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement knowledge is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a root-cause corrective-action mindset and the ability to drive sustainable improvements.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor while influencing plant leadership, site stakeholders, and global technical teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate operational needs into technical requirements and explain technical issues to non-technical users.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites and balance urgent support needs with longer-term improvement work.
• Digital champion mindset with the ability to identify practical use cases, build adoption, and connect site needs with global digital capabilities.
• Fluent Portuguese and English.
