UCB S.A. is seeking a Medical Solutions Lead Immunology to drive strategic initiatives and lead a team dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes. The role demands collaboration across stakeholders and implementation of innovative medical strategies within the immunology domain in Brazil.

To strengthen our team, we are looking to fill the position of Medical Solutions Lead Immunology.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates the generation of product/ disease state data (IIS, audits, RWE etc.) together with the local Medical Scientific Partners.
Represents Brazil in global discussions involving clinical research projects.
Assesses feasibility and strategic alignment of any unsolicited investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and facilitates submission into global review committees.
Work with internal and external stakeholders/advisors to identify opportunities for UCB to further contribute to the creation of patient value.
Provides medical and scientific guidance and approval for all UCB activities.
Leads the local publication plan and ensures implementation.
Manage OPEX budget associated with medical program development and execution.
Responsible for lead and mentor all medical team: Medical Solution Lead, MSLs and medical analyst.
Responsible to design and implementation of the Intern Access Program – BKZ.
Member of the Brazilian Committee Review, along with Brazilian Leadership Team.
Co -Develops, adapt and implement materials and educational programs designed to advance UCB’s medical and scientific agenda, including review and approval of specified promotional and non-promotional materials.
Works with Catalysts to design and provide training and mentoring programs to field based.
Medical Scientific Partners and Healthcare Provider Partners to ensure they have the necessary scientific knowledge and skills to be effective in their role.
Take proactive steps to ensure that patients that receive a UCB product have the best possible experience.
Lead and oversee the medical strategy for the Immunology division, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Develop and implement medical plans and programs to support product development, clinical trials, and post-market activities.
Provide medical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams, including research and development, regulatory affairs, and marketing.
Collaborate with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and external partners to advance medical research and promote the company's products.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including GCP, ICH, and FDA standards.
Monitor and analyze clinical data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
Prepare and present scientific and medical information to internal and external stakeholders.
Manage and mentor a team of medical professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Stay current with the latest developments in immunology and related fields, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.
Key Deliverables:
Lead the development of medical vision, strategy and content for scientific, marketing, education, capabilities of internal external stakeholders.
Serve as the primary Immunology medical liaison with regulatory bodies, medical societies, healthcare environment.
Drive and design a clear and wining strategic and tactical successful plan to deliver optimal patient value and thereby achieve UCB’s purpose to impact lives.
Develop and implement flawlessly a highly rated and impactful educational programs – CMEs (Summit, Speaker Training, Adboards) to healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with regulatory, access, marketing teams on development, preparation and deliverables of key health authorities documents as well as business related materials.
Anticipate and lead risk management activities, drive compliance mindset, ensure process integrity alignment with internal and external policies regulations.
Participate strategically in immunology businesses planning, develipment and decision-making processes (in country and representation above country)
Act as a bridge/catalyst between the medical community and UCB.
Represent the company at scientific conferences, advisory boards, healthcare professionals’ meetings and audiences.
Manage teams’ and organization objectives advancements measurements on key elements drivers of UCB’s medical and scientific platforms/goals
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Ensure continuous professional self & team development.
Strong, purposeful relationships with national and regional KOLs impact/influence.
Contribute to the development of the company’s mid-long-term strategy
Stay informed and shape the environment on immunology industry trends, scientific advancements, regulatory changes and any other healthcare ecosystem priorities.
Ensure the success of the company’s products and maintaining the highest standards of medical integrity and patient safety
