Responsabilidades

  • Inspecionar e corrigir anomalias em máquinas.
  • Preparar relatórios de acompanhamento e controle.
  • Diagnosticar problemas em sistemas hidráulicos e pneumáticos.

About the role:

Alcoa is seeking a Senior Mechanical Technician to join our team at the Alumar unit in the Reduction area, São Luís do Maranhão.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Advanced knowledge of machine components;
  • Handling, reading, and converting measurements using measuring instruments (tape measure, caliper, dial gauge, laser aligner, micrometer);
  • Reading, interpreting, and identifying parts and drawings in equipment catalogs;
  • Understanding, interpreting, and diagnosing according to hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams;
  • Advanced knowledge of lubricants and lubrication systems;
  • Inspecting, re-tightening, adjusting, and correcting abnormalities;
  • Preparing follow-up and control reports.
Qualifications:
  • Technical degree in Electromechanics, Mechanical, or related fields;
  • Willingness to reside in São Luís – MA and work in shifts;
  • Experience in corrective and preventive maintenance in industrial equipment; ability to prepare reports and equipment histories.
