About the Role:
Alcoa is seeking a Mechanic A to join our team at the Alumar unit in São Luís – MA, being responsible for:
Executing preventive/corrective mechanical maintenance on machines, equipment, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems;
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, catalogs of parts, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams;
Selecting and correctly using tools and measurement instruments;
Performing lubrication, cleaning, and conservation of equipment according to defined plans;
Performing assembly and disassembly of equipment;
Following correctly the safety policy, norms, and procedures of Alumar and actively participating in the Safety Plan.
What you can offer for the role:
Formation: Technical degree in Mechanics or Electromechanics with an active CFT (Conselho Federal dos Técnicos Industriais);
Desirable: Experience in industrial environments;
Desirable: Knowledge of safety norms, knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems, lubrication, filters, pumps, motors, reducers, bearings, couplings, and exhaust systems;
Desirable: Experience with screw conveyors, belt conveyors, and experience with bucket elevators;
Desirable: Skill in electric cutting and welding.
