Overview of the role: As a Marketing Science Analyst, you will join Flutter Brazil’s Martech team, supporting the Betnacional and Betfair brands. You will play a key role in turning marketing data into actionable insights, helping the business improve customer acquisition, media efficiency, campaign performance, and marketing decision-making.
This is a hands‑on individual contributor role for someone who combines strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of the marketing ecosystem. You will work closely with Media, CRM, Product, Data, Tech, and Martech teams, helping build a more autonomous and data‑driven Martech operation. We are looking for someone who enjoys being close to the business, can navigate a fast‑paced environment, and is comfortable taking ownership of analyses and solutions from data collection through recommendation.
What you’ll do:
- Analyze and manipulate marketing data to support decisions related to customer acquisition, campaign performance, media efficiency, retention, and revenue;
- Work with different marketing data sources, including paid media platforms, CRM, tracking data, offline media, and customer data;
- Build, maintain, and evolve analytical datasets, tables, and models using Databricks and other data tools;
- Partner with Media and Martech teams to evaluate campaign and channel performance and identify opportunities to improve budget allocation and marketing efficiency;
- Support the development and evolution of attribution, incrementality, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), propensity, churn, LTV, and other marketing analytics approaches;
- Translate complex data and analytical findings into clear, practical recommendations for marketing teams and business stakeholders;
- Support experimentation initiatives, including A/B tests, holdouts, geo-experiments, and other incrementality testing approaches;
- Help define data requirements and ensure consistency, quality, and traceability across marketing datasets;
- Monitor analytical outputs and models over time, identifying opportunities to improve methodologies, data quality, and business applicability;
- Work closely with CRM, Media, Product, Data, and Tech teams to connect marketing needs with the right data and analytical solutions;
- Contribute to the development of scalable Martech processes, documentation, and analytical routines that enable the team to operate with greater autonomy.
What you’ll bring:
- Around 4 or 5 years of professional experience in Marketing Analytics, Martech, Advanced Analytics, Data Science, Marketing Science, or related areas;
- Strong experience working with marketing data, with a good understanding of areas such as campaign taxonomy, media data, CRM, tracking, customer journeys, and digital marketing measurement;
- Hands‑on experience with Databricks or strong experience with comparable data platforms and the ability to quickly adapt to Databricks;
- Experience collecting, transforming, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets;
- Familiarity with digital media platforms and data from channels such as Google Ads and Meta Ads;
- Knowledge of CRM data and its connection to marketing and customer lifecycle analysis;
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to connect data findings to practical business decisions;
- Experience working in fast‑paced, highly digital environments such as agencies, apps, e‑commerce, fintech, gaming, telecom, or companies with significant marketing investments;
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related field;
- English skills that allow you to interact with documentation, technical materials, and global stakeholders. Fluency is not a strict requirement, and we value candidates with strong potential and willingness to continue developing their English.
We require a candidate who has achieved or is capable of the following:
- Works with a high level of autonomy, ownership, and accountability, without depending on constant technical supervision;
- Knows when to move independently and when alignment is needed before making decisions that may impact other teams or the business;
- Is comfortable operating in a dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly;
- Understands marketing beyond the technical side of data and is curious about how campaigns, media, CRM, customers, and commercial objectives connect;
- Can communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Demonstrates strong problem‑solving skills and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement;
- Is able to balance analytical depth with execution speed and practical business needs;
- Collaborates effectively across different teams and disciplines;
- Shows curiosity, ambition, and willingness to continuously develop technical and business knowledge;
- Experience with Marketing Mix Modeling, including tools or frameworks such as Meridian, is considered a plus;
- Experience with attribution, experimentation, incrementality, or advanced marketing measurement methodologies is also considered a plus.
