Position Summary
In the position of Marketing Director, you will lead the strategic development and execution of all brand activities (Monster Energy, Reign, and Burn) in Brazil, ensuring full alignment with global marketing standards and the U.S. model. You will manage a wide range of marketing functions—including campaigns, events, promotions, athlete management, communications, and budgets—while driving business growth through collaboration with international teams and partners. Additionally, you will integrate key brand platforms like Action and Motorsports, Gaming, and Music & Lifestyle into sales strategies to strengthen brand awareness and market presence.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate between the Corporate Marketing Team, commercial team, bottlers, agencies, and partners to ensure program alignment, resource availability, and lead the Annual Business Plan using insights from category, consumer, shopper, and retailer data. Identify opportunities, translate brand strategies into actionable marketing and sales plans for each region and channel, with proper budget management.
- Manage Talent & Sponsorships, Cultural Integration & Relationship Building: Embed the brand within local sports, gaming, music, and lifestyle scenes by developing relationships with influencers and opinion leaders to drive relevance and advocacy. Oversee athlete, ambassador, gamer, event producer, and partner performance through contracts and integrated marketing plans to maximize media visibility.
- Plan and execute events at all levels—from grassroots to large-scale brand activations—ensuring alignment with brand strategies and business plans.
- Leverage global, national, and regional brand properties and events, capturing on-the-ground insights to develop innovative, locally relevant marketing ideas.
- Lead branding and visual identity efforts, including in-store shopper activations, ensuring consistent use of branding and logos across all campaigns and events, aligned with global guidelines.
- Manage College Program & Sampling initiatives, including the Ambassadors Team and large-scale sampling operations to increase trial, visibility, and engagement.
- Coordinate consumer promotions, managing the entire process from planning to execution, including agency management, terms and conditions, prizes, fulfillment, and post-promotional analysis to optimize future campaigns.
- Support digital and social media engagement through content creation, athlete collaborations, and promotions in partnership with the Digital team.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 1-3 years of marketing experience within top-tier CPG companies, preferably beverages.
- Over 10 years of proven leadership experience in cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Solid consumer brand management experience, with expertise in shopper/channel marketing programs and public relations.
