Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to lead its operations in Brazil. This is a senior leadership role for a strategic marketer with a strong track record in digital and performance marketing, ideally within high-growth and highly regulated sectors such as gambling, fintech, e-commerce, or online gaming.
The ideal candidate combines a data-driven mindset with a deep understanding of the Brazilian regulatory landscape (Senacon, Law 14.790/23), strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to position a brand in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the local marketing strategy, aligned with commercial goals and regulatory requirements.
- Position the brand competitively in the Brazilian market, ensuring clear differentiation and customer appeal.
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for acquisition, retention, and brand awareness, with a focus on ROI.
- Oversee acquisition channels including paid media (Google, Meta, programmatic), affiliate marketing, SEO, and strategic partnerships.
- Design and execute CRM strategies, email marketing, push notifications, and promotional campaigns to drive customer retention and reactivation.
- Optimize conversion and engagement funnels through data analysis, A/B testing, and continual iteration.
- Manage influencer relationships, brand ambassador programs, and activations at sporting and entertainment events.
- Ensure compliance with all advertising and marketing regulations applicable to the sector.
- Create and manage high-performing affiliate programs (CPA, RevShare, hybrid models), ensuring measurable results.
- Negotiate with and manage third-party vendors, media platforms, influencers, and content publishers.
- Establish and monitor performance marketing KPIs such as CAC, LTV, churn, ROI, and ROAS.
- Leverage business intelligence tools and analytics platforms to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including product, IT, compliance, sales, and customer service to drive aligned outcomes.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary local marketing team covering media, content, affiliates, CRM, and more.
- Manage the marketing budget with a sharp focus on cost-efficiency and returns.
Key Requirements
- Proven senior-level experience in digital and performance marketing.
- Experience in highly regulated or high-growth sectors such as gambling, fintech, gaming, or e-commerce is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Brazilian advertising and consumer protection laws (Senacon, Law 14.790/23).
- Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution and data fluency.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus).
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, creativity, and negotiation skills.
