Baker Hughes Company in Curitiba, Brazil is seeking a Manufacturing Professional (Systems) to support and optimize subsea equipment manufacturing. The role emphasizes engineering rigor, hands-on problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to drive improvements in manufacturing performance.

Responsibilities include developing manufacturing processes, creating procedures, leading qualification efforts, and coordinating with suppliers on scopes and Capex projects, with English communication

Qualifications

• Technical certification or engineering degree with subsea equipment manufacturing exposure.
• At least 5 years in manufacturing assembly operations.
• Knowledge of assembly and pressure testing (hydrostatic, gas, sealing, tests).

Responsabilités

• Support and develop manufacturing processes that meet product requirements with safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and schedule adherence.
• Create standard manufacturing procedures and work instructions, and train execution teams (e.g., test maps, assembly instructions).
• Lead assembly and testing qualification processes.
• Monitor and control manufacturing hours, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare scopes of work and coordinate with suppliers for quotations, problem-solving, visits, and project-related needs.
• Lead Capex projects and prepare documentation across all stages.

As a Manufacturing Professional (Systems), you will provide support for solving complex technical problems that arise in manufacturing production. Working with leading-edge technology, you will make key decisions, resolve issues and oversee projects to shape enhancements. You’ll unite cross-functional teams to connect, share knowledge, innovate and to develop improvements.

As a Manufacturing Professional (Systems) you will be responsible for:

• Supporting and developing manufacturing processes that meet product requirements with safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and schedule adherence.
• Creating standard manufacturing procedures and work instructions, and training execution teams (e.g., test maps, assembly instructions)
• Leading assembly and testing qualification processes
• Monitoring and controlling manufacturing hours, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions when needed
• Preparing scopes of work and coordinating with suppliers for quotations, problem-solving, visits, and project-related needs
• Leading Capex projects and preparing documentation across all stages

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have technical certification + proven experience in subsea equipment manufacturing operations; OR engineering bachelor’s degree in progress or completed + proven exposure to subsea equipment manufacturing operations.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing assembly operations
• Have knowledge of assembly and pressure testing processes (hydrostatic, gas, integrity, sealing, functional tests, flushing, etc.).
• Have advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.
