This role requires on-site work in Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais (MG).

Who will you be working with?

You will lead key departments including Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Lean, and Facilities within our Governador Valadares Super Metal business.

What do we want to know about you?

• A degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Extensive experience in Manufacturing or Services Management.
• Experience in the rail industry (preferred).
• Advanced English language skills.
• Strong ability to plan and organize work and processes, with proven capability to independently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

What will your typical day look like?

• Oversee Manufacturing Operations: Manage manufacturing and related areas, ensuring efficiency through the establishment and monitoring of metrics and performance indicators.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term plans at strategic, tactical, and operational levels to drive the area's success.
• Decision-Making: Make informed decisions aligned with company guidelines, prioritizing tasks to achieve optimal results in terms of time, quality, cost, and benefits for the organization and its professionals.
• Continuous Improvement: Act as a change agent by fostering continuous improvement and providing the resources necessary to meet established objectives.
• People Management: Lead all aspects of people management, including training, development, recruitment, evaluation, and engagement, in alignment with Human Resources guidelines.
