Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Manufacturing Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations in Campinas. The Manufacturing Manager will lead a team of supervisors, technicians, and production staff to ensure efficient production processes, high-quality output, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to drive operational excellence, optimize resources, and support our client's commitment to delivering world-class products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production targets and customer demands.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors, operators, and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet our client's quality standards by collaborating with the Quality Control team and implementing robust quality assurance processes.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry standards; conduct regular safety audits and training.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or efficiency.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components, minimizing production delays.
- Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, downtime, and defect rates; report progress to senior leadership and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, R&D, and sales teams to support new product introductions, process changes, and customer-specific requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to drive operational excellence, including employee training programs, equipment upgrades, and technology adoption.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in the HVAC, refrigeration, or consumer goods industries.
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational improvements in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies (certification is a plus).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and manufacturing software for production planning and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams.
- Solid understanding of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making and improve performance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
