About The Role

We are creating a new D2C product in the Utilities category and are seeking a Managing Director to oversee daily operations, execution, and team building.

Profit Share

This role includes profit sharing incentives and stock options, details of which will be shared during the interview process.

You will be building a high-talent team within our fast-paced, 100% remote environment.

About You

You are a dynamic, hands-on leader with extensive experience in D2C digital products, preferably subscriptions. You excel in driving growth and innovation, with a strong grasp of engineering, product, marketing, and growth strategies. Your ability to manage teams, deliver results under pressure, and engage deeply with technical and operational aspects makes you ideal to lead our company toward continued success.

What You’ll Do
  1. Lead strategic growth initiatives to expand the business and improve market position.
  2. Manage cross-functional teams across engineering, product, marketing, and sales.
  3. Drive revenue growth and profitability while managing operational expenses.
  4. Oversee product development from concept to launch, ensuring market fit and quality.
  5. Collaborate with engineering to deliver innovative solutions aligned with business goals.
  6. Align product roadmaps with business strategy and customer feedback.
  7. Lead marketing campaigns that are data-driven and customer-centric.
  8. Use analytics to refine growth strategies and ensure sustainable revenue.
  9. Monitor key metrics like revenue, EBITDA, CAC, LTV, ROAS, ARPU, and retention to optimize performance.
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership in D2C digital products, especially subscriptions.
  • Deep understanding of engineering, product, marketing, and growth.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and executing strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and optimize performance.
  • Comfort with technical and operational engagement in the business.
