Wipro is seeking a Trade Support Manager in Brazil (Sao Paulo/Curitiba) to oversee trade booking, confirmation, and settlement for bonds and term loans. The role requires coordinating with onshore teams, custodians, brokers, and technology teams to ensure accurate and timely settlements under an offshore operating model.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years in finance, strong process discipline, and experience with SWIFT settlement messages and regulatory requirements.

• Execute assigned Trade Support processes in line with procedures, control frameworks, and SLAs.
• Perform trade booking, confirmation, and settlement preparation for Bonds and Term Loans across major systems.
• Ensure trades are captured accurately and within timelines.
• Confirm trades with counterparties per market standards and guidelines.
• Monitor settlement status and identify potential issues, escalating as needed.
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks and escalate unresolved exceptions.
• Support failed trade management and claims processing with timely follow-up.

Title: Trade Support Manager

Location: Sao Paulo/ Curitiba Brazil

Job Description

• Execute assigned Trade Support processes in line with approved procedures, control frameworks, and SLAs under the offshore operating model.


• Perform trade booking, confirmation, and settlement preparation for Bonds and Term Loans across DTC, Euroclear, FED, and Clearpar.


• Ensure trades are captured accurately, completely, and within agreed timelines in relevant systems.


• Confirm trades with counterparties in accordance with market standards and internal guidelines.


• On TD+0 / TD+1, ensure trades are matched, funded, and ready for settlement on value date.


• Monitor settlement status and proactively identify potential settlement issues, escalating risks and delays to onshore teams as required.


• Investigate and resolve trade breaks. Escalate unresolved exceptions to the appropriate stakeholders.


• Support failed trade management and claims processing, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate record-keeping.


• Handle Repo trade booking and settlement.


• Perform daily controls, reconciliations, and checklist sign-offs to ensure compliance with internal control requirements.


• Monitor system exception reports, error queues, and task workstations, ensuring timely remediation or escalation.


• Interpret and process SWIFT settlement messages (MT540–MT548) to support accurate settlement flows.


• Adhere to applicable regulatory and reporting requirements (e.g., EMIR, MiFID, SEC) as defined within the offshore scope of work.


• Maintain clear, timely communication with onshore Trade Support, Front Office, custodians, brokers, and technology teams.
