Qualificações

Job overview and responsibilities
  1. Provide business leadership, operational direction, and quality control procedures to ensure aircraft inspections comply with Federal Air Regulations and the United Airlines Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMPs).
  2. Serve as a supervisory member of the Air Carriers Inspection Unit, with inspection decision authority and responsibility.
  3. Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to ensure effective quality systems are in place.
  4. Monitor and manage Daily Operational plan execution and follow-up.
  5. Oversee compliance with FAA-approved required inspections and other inspection tasks.
  6. Adjust inspection unit’s quality performance and controls as necessary.
  7. Implement continuous process improvements for processes, tooling, and quality systems.
  8. Support overall maintenance organization with quality processes.
  9. Maintain high awareness of operational, safety, and human resource performance.
  10. Maintain effective communication with all employee groups within the stations.

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas are not provided.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent, including post-high school aviation maintenance technical training, associate certificate, or military aviation training.
  2. FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
  3. At least 4 years of inspection experience on large transport aircraft.
  4. Experience supervising aircraft maintenance or inspection personnel.
  5. Understanding of aircraft systems, engines, structures, Federal Air Regulations, and maintenance and inspection programs.
  6. Knowledge of non-destructive testing methods and principles.
  7. Legally authorized to work in Brazil without sponsorship.
  8. Fluent in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
  9. Successful completion of interview required.
  10. Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in aviation management or an advanced degree.
  2. Over 1 year of experience managing aviation maintenance personnel on large transport aircraft.
