Job summary

Safran Seats is hiring an On Site Support Manager located in Brazil to drive on-site support at the airframer facility. You will ensure timely flow of Safran Seats components and strict FAA/compliance adherence to schedules and quality standards.

You will oversee FOD program, replacement orders for damaged parts, and maintain product visibility to meet customer requirements and cost targets. Emphasis on teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent accepted.
• Strong knowledge of commercial aircraft seating products and FAA requirements.
• Ability to interact effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent command of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and standard office tools.
• Proven written communication skills and ability to operate office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assures all delivered Safran Seats flow through the airframer system to meet delivery schedules.
• Ensures compliance with FAA regulations and quality standards at the airframer facility.
• Responsible for the FOD program at the air framer for the On Site Support team.
• Manages the replacement order process for defective or airframer damaged components.
• Maintains visibility of all Safran Seats delivered products to ensure quality and cost control.
• Develops and monitors quality programs to minimize mistakes and rework.
• Maximizes manpower, equipment and facility utilization.

• ? Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ? 5-8 years of related experience required, of which 2 of those years must be in the aircraft industry.
• ? 2-4 years of prior supervisor/manager experience required.
• ? Strong knowledge of commercial aircraft seating products; involving but not limited to repair systems, operations, methods, procedures, and related FAA requirements.
• ? Must have the skills and experience to effectively inter-act with the customer.
• ? Must have excellent influential and negotiation skills and be very comfortable in adversarial business and customer environments.
• ? Must have a very good working knowledge of the standard suite of office software products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, et al.)
• ? Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
